Dental implants are the most advanced option for replacing missing teeth. They function as artificial tooth roots that support crowns, bridges, or full arch restorations.
Unlike removable options or traditional bridges, implants are designed to integrate with the jawbone, restoring stability, bite function, and long term oral health.
Missing teeth affect more than appearance. Over time, tooth loss can lead to bone deterioration, shifting teeth, bite imbalance, and changes in facial structure.
Dental implants help preserve bone, maintain proper alignment, and restore natural chewing function. When planned and placed correctly, they offer a predictable, long lasting solution.
Successful implant treatment begins with thoughtful planning. At CHS Dental, every implant case is evaluated using advanced diagnostics to ensure proper placement, stability, and long term success.
Treatment planning considers bone quality, bite alignment, esthetics, and overall oral health. This approach allows implants to function naturally while supporting surrounding teeth and restorations.
High resolution digital imaging is used to evaluate the tooth and surrounding structures.

Your crown is digitally designed to restore proper anatomy, bite, and appearance.
The crown is milled from a solid ceramic block on site for strength and accuracy.
The restoration is carefully fitted, adjusted, and permanently bonded the same day.
Same day crowns are commonly recommended for teeth with large fractures, extensive decay, failed restorations, or teeth that have undergone root canal treatment.
A comprehensive evaluation is always performed to determine the most appropriate treatment based on your dental health, bite, and long term goals.
With good daily care and regular checkups, dental implants are designed to be a long-term solution, and many last for decades. The crown on top may eventually need to be replaced due to normal wear, while the implant itself stays in place.
Implants are placed with local anesthesia, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain. If dental visits make you anxious, we offer nitrous oxide and IV sedation, and Dr. Kusek is certified in IV sedation. Mild soreness for a few days afterward is common and usually manageable.
Your implant needs time to bond with your jawbone before the final tooth is placed, so treatment usually takes a few months from start to finish. If a bone graft is needed first, the timeline is longer. At your consultation, we'll use 3D imaging to map out your timeline so you know what to expect.
Not always. When a tooth has been missing for a while, the jawbone can shrink, and a bone graft rebuilds a stable foundation for the implant. Dr. Kusek evaluates your bone with 3D CBCT imaging and can perform bone grafting when it's needed.
Cost depends on how many teeth are being replaced, whether you need a bone graft, and the type of restoration. After your exam, you'll receive a transparent treatment plan and cost estimate before any treatment begins. We accept and file all major insurance plans, including out-of-network, and payment plans are available. For a closer look, read our guide: How Much Do Dental Implants Cost?
